Karachi / Islamabad, October 8, 2025:
Gold prices in Pakistan surged to unprecedented levels today, with each tola rising by Rs 8,400, setting a new all-time high.
The All-Pakistan Gems & Jewellers Sarafa Association reported that 24-carat gold now commands a premium unmatched in recent history. Analyst commentary points to a mix of global inflation concerns, currency depreciation, and increased demand for safe-haven assets as key drivers behind the sharp climb.
Market watchers caution that while the rally shows strong momentum, volatility could follow if interest rates shift or the rupee stabilises.
