Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trajectory on Friday, mirroring a global increase in gold rates. The price of gold per tola climbed to Rs 257,300, marking an increase of Rs 2,400. Similarly, the 10-gram gold price saw a rise, reaching Rs 220,593 with an increment of Rs 2,057, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On the international front, gold prices also experienced a significant boost, with rates hitting $2,458 per ounce—a $26 increase from the previous day. The global market saw a premium of $20 added to the price.
In contrast, silver rates remained unchanged, holding steady at Rs 2,900 per tola.
The continued rise in gold prices reflects broader market trends, with global economic factors influencing precious metal values.
