In preparation for the upcoming Hajj season, the Pakistani government has officially allocated the Hajj 2025 quota to various airlines, ensuring that thousands of pilgrims will have the opportunity to perform the sacred journey. The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony announced that the allocation process was completed in collaboration with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and other relevant bodies.
Key Details of the Allocation:
- Quota Distribution: A total of 200,000 Hajj pilgrims will be able to travel from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia in 2025. The quota has been divided among national and private airlines, with Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) receiving the largest share.
- Airlines Involved: Alongside PIA, other private airlines including Airblue, SereneAir, and Fly Jinnah have been allocated a specific number of seats to ensure a smooth travel experience for the pilgrims.
- Ticket Pricing and Arrangements: The government has stressed that airlines must adhere to government-set pricing regulations to ensure affordability for pilgrims. A special Hajj package will be offered, including airfare, accommodation, and transportation services.
The allocation is expected to streamline travel arrangements for the faithful, with authorities emphasizing the importance of a seamless process for the religious journey. The government is also working on improving facilities and services for pilgrims, both in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance the Hajj experience.
