Islamabad, November 4, 2025: The Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) has clarified that any decision regarding the deployment of Pakistani troops to Gaza will be made collectively by the government and parliament.
Addressing a press briefing on Monday, the DG ISPR said, “The Pakistan Army stands with the nation in its support for the Palestinian people, but any decision on sending troops abroad lies with the government and parliament.”
He emphasized that the armed forces remain committed to following constitutional and diplomatic channels while continuing humanitarian support efforts for Gaza amid the ongoing conflict.
The statement comes amid growing public calls for Pakistan to play a more active role in supporting Palestinians following Israel’s continued military operations in the besieged territory.
