In a groundbreaking initiative to promote eco-friendly transportation and reward academic excellence, the federal government has announced the distribution of electric motorcycles to the top 120 students of the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE).
The announcement was made by a government spokesperson who emphasized the dual purpose of the program: to encourage students to strive for academic excellence and to contribute to the government’s vision of a greener Pakistan.
“These electric motorcycles are a token of appreciation for the hard work and dedication of our brilliant students. At the same time, they align with our mission to adopt sustainable practices and reduce carbon emissions,” the spokesperson said.
The selected students will receive their motorcycles during a special ceremony to be held later this month. Each motorcycle is equipped with modern features, including a high-capacity battery and smart technology, ensuring efficiency and environmental friendliness.
Parents and educators have lauded the initiative, calling it a significant step toward fostering a culture of innovation and sustainability among the youth.
This program is part of the government’s broader strategy to popularize electric vehicles in Pakistan and achieve climate goals while recognizing academic achievers across the country.
