Bureau Chairperson Sara Ahmed directed the rescue operation and ensured the child’s safety. In a statement, Ahmed confirmed that the boy would receive care, including education, food, shelter, and other basic necessities, at the Child Protection Bureau. She also urged the Inspector General of Punjab to expedite the arrest of the accused transgender individual.
