The four-day event, centered around the theme of climate change, saw an overwhelming response from book lovers. The closing ceremony was attended by MPA Maulana Hidayatur Rehman, Fisheries Secretary Anwar Shafqat Shahwani, environmental social worker Safina Faraz, and RCD Council leaders Khuda Bakhsh Hashim and Nasir Rahim Sohrabi.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Sohrabi highlighted the timeless value of books, stating that regardless of technological advancements, “the pen, the book, and knowledge will always remain fundamental to humanity.” He also underscored the role of literature in challenging negative stereotypes about Balochistan, asserting that the province is a land of book lovers, not terrorists.
