In a heartwarming announcement on her official Instagram account, Kiani shared her remarkable achievement through her non-profit organization, Vaseela-e-Raah.
Kiani, widely recognized for her commitment to humanitarian causes, revealed that she had exceeded her initial goal of constructing 200 homes for the flood-affected people. Instead, she has managed to build an impressive 370 houses and a range of essential facilities in the underprivileged areas of Naseerabad, Balochistan.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Kiani expressed her gratitude, stating, “By the grace of Allah and your selfless help, we have surpassed our goal. The promise I made last year to the people of Balochistan, to my mother, and to my country is now complete.”
The accomplished singer went on to share the extensive achievements of her project, saying, “Our initial goal was 200 homes, but through prayer, determination, hard work, and community, we have now completed 370 homes, 2 mosques, 2 maternity centers, 1 school, and 1 grocery store in Tamboo and Kundi villages of Naseerabad, Balochistan. All funds collected over the past year have been fully utilized.”
Hadiqa Kiani had previously visited flood-ravaged areas, urging the public to come forward and assist the displaced victims during their hour of need. Her long-standing commitment to women’s and children’s rights led her to launch Vasaal-e-Raah, with a promise to her mother and the people of Balochistan to help rebuild the province.
Expressing her heartfelt appreciation to the public for their support, Kiani provided complete transparency about the aid distribution process. She detailed how medicine, medical supplies, water, food, clothing, and general rations, along with goodie bags for children, were distributed to flood victims through her platform.
Kiani also shared plans for the future, mentioning active requests to install clean water plants and solar panels in order to ensure the region’s sustainability and minimal resource waste. She intends to create a follow-up video with more information about her work in Balochistan. However, she clarified that her campaign had concluded, and they were not collecting any more donations at this time.
In addition to her philanthropic work, Hadiqa Kiani recently garnered attention for her role in the controversial play “Hadsa.” The play faced a temporary ban by PEMRA due to social media backlash and the sensitive nature of its subject matter. The creators later clarified that the intention was not to glorify the notorious motorway incident but rather to raise awareness and empower victims of sexual violence and assault in Pakistan.
