The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced its Summer Internship Program 2025, a six-week opportunity for students to gain practical experience at Pakistan’s central bank. The internship will take place from June 23, 2025, to August 01, 2025, at SBP Headquarters in Karachi.

The last date to submit an online application is February 14, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Education Level:
- Must have completed at least two years of a four-year bachelor’s degree OR
- Must be currently enrolled in a master’s program
- Fields of Study:
- Economics
- Business Administration
- Public Administration
- Accounting & Finance
- Commerce
- Mathematics & Statistics
- Human Resources
- Agriculture
- Media Sciences / Mass Communication
- Information Systems & Technology
- Minimum Academic Performance:
- A minimum of 70% marks if a percentage system is used
- A CGPA of at least 3.00 out of 4.00 or 4.00 out of 5.00 if a GPA system is used
Graduates and students awaiting results are not eligible to apply.
Application Process
To apply, candidates should follow these steps:
- Open the internship link using a supported browser (avoid Internet Explorer).
- Click on the “Apply Here” button.
- Enter a valid email address and confirm it.
- Provide CNIC or NICOP number (13 characters, without dashes).
- Fill in the CAPTCHA and click “Submit”.
- Check the inbox for a confirmation email to proceed with registration.
- Choose one of the two options:
- Pakistani national studying in a domestic university
- Pakistani national studying in an international university
- Complete all sections and click “Submit”.
- A confirmation message will appear upon successful submission.
Shortlisting & Further Process
Shortlisted candidates will be notified by March 14, 2025. They will be required to submit scanned, attested copies of the following documents:
- Last semester’s official transcript
- CNIC/NICOP or valid Pakistani passport
- Domicile certificate
- Passport-sized photograph
