Dubai, November 4, 2025: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has suspended Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf for two international matches following a breach of the ICC Code of Conduct, officials confirmed on Tuesday.
According to the ICC statement, Rauf was found guilty of Level 1 disciplinary offense for showing “inappropriate behavior and dissent” during Pakistan’s recent series. The fast bowler also received two demerit points, which added to his disciplinary record and triggered an automatic suspension.
The incident reportedly occurred during the second T20 match, where Rauf reacted aggressively after an umpiring decision went against him. While he later apologized, the ICC said such actions “set a poor example for players and fans.”
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has accepted the ICC’s decision and confirmed that Rauf will miss the next two international fixtures.
