Karachi Police have announced a detailed traffic plan ahead of New Year’s Eve to ensure smooth flow and public safety during the celebrations.
Special arrangements have been made for key areas such as Clifton, Saddar, and the city’s major event venues, where heavy gatherings are expected. To manage congestion, certain roads, including Shahrah-e-Faisal and M.A. Jinnah Road, will have traffic diversions and blockages in place.
The police have urged residents to use public transport or carpool to avoid road overcrowding. Enhanced security and a strong police presence will be visible throughout the night, especially around popular hotspots.
Authorities have also requested citizens to cooperate with traffic guidelines and follow any detours or instructions given by officers for a safer and more enjoyable New Year’s celebration.
