Karachi recorded its coldest night of the year on December 28, 2024, with temperatures dropping to 6.5°C, as reported by the Meteorological Department.
The chill spread across the country, with areas like Skardu experiencing -13°C, Gops at -9°C, and Gilgit and Astore at -8°C.
Northern Balochistan also saw freezing temperatures, with Quetta recording -3°C.
Meanwhile, light rain and snowfall are expected in regions like Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, and parts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Due to heavy fog, several sections of the motorway are closed for traffic.
