Karachi is set to face hot and humid conditions in the upcoming days, with temperatures potentially surpassing 35°C, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
On Thursday, the city recorded a maximum temperature of 34.5°C, marking an increase of 1.5°C compared to the previous day. Karachi saw low-speed sea breezes and mostly sunny skies, contributing to the overall heat.
The PMD has predicted similar weather for the next few days, with humidity levels expected to rise between 55% and 65%. This spike in humidity will make the temperature feel even hotter, intensifying the discomfort for residents.
Despite the heat, no rainfall is expected, leaving Karachiites to endure the sweltering conditions. The increased moisture in the air is expected to amplify the perceived heat, making it feel significantly warmer than the actual temperature.
