Karachi is set to face hot weather conditions for the next seven days, making fasting during Ramadan more challenging for residents. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), temperatures are expected to range between 34°C to 38°C with dry and sunny conditions prevailing throughout the week.
The heatwave-like weather may intensify in the afternoon hours, prompting health experts to advise citizens to stay hydrated during Iftar and Sehri times and avoid unnecessary outdoor activities.
Authorities have urged the public to take precautionary measures and look out for symptoms of heatstroke, especially among the elderly and children.
