It seems it’s a fortuitous day for Karan Johar, as the renowned singer Chahat Fateh Ali Khan has expressed his willingness to collaborate on Johar’s movies “free of charge”! This generous offer came after Johar shared Khan’s captivating cover of ‘Tauba Tauba’ on his Instagram stories, describing it as a must-watch, complete with a heart emoji.
Karan Johar, who produced the hit film Bad Newz featuring Vicky Kaushal, also played a pivotal role in popularizing Karan Aujla’s viral track ‘Tauba Tauba’. In response to the original song’s success, Khan released his own rendition titled ‘Toba Toba’, which features slightly altered lyrics and a fresh melody.
In a light-hearted twist, Aujla commented on Khan’s video, playfully asking, “Uncle na karo please [Uncle please don’t].” Khan, displaying his good humor, liked the comment and continued his musical endeavors without a second thought.
In a heartfelt message to Johar, Khan even serenaded him with a rendition of “Happy Birthday” to celebrate the producer’s special day—despite Johar’s birthday actually being on May 25. It appears Khan is simply getting a head start for next year’s festivities!
Expressing his gratitude, Khan praised Johar, saying, “A producer, singer, actor, model like you. You’re a kingmaker!” While it’s a bit unclear where Johar fits into the modeling sphere, Khan certainly seems to have high regard for the multifaceted talent of the celebrated director.
Khan was so thrilled by Johar’s shoutout that he reportedly “could not sleep for three nights.” It’s no surprise, given that receiving recognition from one of the industry’s leading producers can be quite overwhelming!
Fans are now buzzing with anticipation, eager to see Khan’s debut in one of Johar’s films. Could a collaboration with the likes of Shahrukh Khan be on the horizon? The prospect of such star power is enough to make anyone excited!
