Addressing the media, Yash expressed his disbelief at the extreme measures taken by some fans, emphasizing the need for responsibility and safety. He urged fans not to engage in dangerous activities such as putting up banners on electric poles or indulging in risky behavior for the sake of expressing their love.
“If you wish me wholeheartedly, that is the best gesture for me. Tragic incidents like these make me fear my own birthday. Please don’t show your love like this. I want to request you all. Don’t hang banners, don’t do bike chases, and take dangerous selfies,” Yash pleaded with his fans, urging them to prioritize their safety and well-being.
The actor stressed the importance of responsible fandom, advising followers to focus on personal growth and success. He stated, “If you are a true fan of mine, then do your work diligently, dedicate your life to yourself and be happy and successful.”
Yash also disclosed that he had decided to keep his birthday celebration low-key due to the rising COVID cases and encouraged fans to exercise caution to avoid any harm.
When asked about providing financial aid to the bereaved families, Yash responded with a firm “Certainly,” without divulging specific details.
On the professional front, Yash, known for his role in ‘KGF: Chapter 2,’ is gearing up for his next project, ‘Toxic,’ with National Award-winning director Geetu Mohandas. The film is set to hit theaters on April 10, 2025.
