A local court in Lahore on Tuesday rejected the bail plea of well-known YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, in an online gambling case.
According to court proceedings, the prosecution argued that the influencer played a key role in promoting online gambling platforms, which allegedly caused financial losses to hundreds of citizens. The defense, however, maintained that the allegations were baseless and politically motivated.
The court, after hearing arguments from both sides, denied bail and directed that the trial proceed under cybercrime and gambling-related laws.
Ducky Bhai, who has millions of followers on social media, was arrested earlier this month. The case has sparked widespread debate online, with fans and critics closely following the legal developments.
