The Lahore Metro Bus Green Line — one of the city’s most heavily used public transport systems — is set to undergo major upgrades as authorities launch a large-scale rehabilitation and modernization project across the entire 27-kilometer route from Gajjumatta to Shahdara.
This revamp aims to make Lahore’s most iconic bus service safer, cleaner, more comfortable, and more energy-efficient for the hundreds of thousands of passengers who rely on it daily.
What’s Being Upgraded?
Officials have approved a comprehensive improvement plan covering all stations along the Green Line corridor. The upgrades include:
