In a dramatic turn of events, the Peshawar High Court is buzzing with arguments about where to hear the case against Shakeel, the accused in the Army Public School attack back in 2019. The case was initially in an Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC), but now it’s been passed like a baton to the sessions court. Why, you ask? Well, it’s because Shakeel is supposedly below 18 years old, and that’s a game-changer!
The government’s lawyer is in a tizzy, claiming that the decision to shift the case was a no-go and should be thrown out. The high court judges are all ears and they’ve ordered a bunch of records to be brought in, making everyone wait with bated breath.
Stay tuned till August 23rd for the next episode of this legal rollercoaster!
