Lieutenant Uzair Mehmood Malik martyred from injuries he suffered during a fight with militants in the Tirah Valley on August 9, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported.
Lieutenant Malik was leading his team when they were attacked by militants. He was badly hurt and later martyred at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Peshawar. The operation led to the killing of four militants.
The ISPR shared its deep sadness over Lieutenant Malik’s death, honoring his courage and dedication.
Lieutenant Malik, 24, was from Attock district and had served in the army for nearly four years. He is survived by his parents and siblings.
The ISPR stated that the army remains determined to fight terrorism, and the sacrifices of brave soldiers only strengthen their commitment.
