In a significant diplomatic development, Maryam Nawaz, the senior leader of Pakistan’s Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), met Liu Jianchao, the Chinese Communist Party’s International Department Head, in Beijing to discuss strengthening the long-standing bilateral relations between Pakistan and China.
The meeting, which took place today at the Great Hall of the People, focused on deepening economic, trade, and strategic cooperation between the two countries. Both leaders expressed mutual interest in expanding the scope of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects and enhancing collaboration in sectors like technology, infrastructure, and defense.
