Islamabad, August 5, 2024 – The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has officially announced that the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT-2024) will be conducted nationwide, including Islamabad and Gilgit-Baltistan, on September 22, 2024. This examination serves as a crucial prerequisite for admission into both public and private medical and dental colleges across the country.
Prospective candidates are advised to register themselves via the PM&DC official website starting from today, August 5.
In compliance with directives from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government and PM&DC, the MDCAT-2024 will be administered as a paper-based exam simultaneously across six regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, Abbottabad, Swat, and Lower Dir.
A strategic meeting chaired by KMU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Ziaul Haq focused on the meticulous planning and execution required to adhere to PMDC and provincial government guidelines. The Vice Chancellor outlined comprehensive arrangements, logistics, and timelines essential for the smooth conduct of the MDCAT-2024.
