Recent media reports indicate that there are no plans to replace Shan Masood as the captain of Pakistan’s Test team ahead of the upcoming series against England. The leadership remains steadfast, with Masood at the helm since November, as he aims to further establish his credentials.

Head coach Jason Gillespie is expected to finalize the squad in collaboration with the selectors next week, upon his arrival in Lahore on Monday. The England team is set to arrive in Pakistan on October 2, with the first Test scheduled for October 7 in Multan. Following the series, Pakistan’s white-ball team will embark on a tour of Australia for three ODIs and three T20Is.
