A mild cold wave is set to sweep across Sindh in the coming days as winter conditions begin to intensify across Pakistan. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), temperatures are expected to drop significantly, especially during the night, bringing chilly conditions to the region.
The cold wave will begin to affect Sindh’s northern and central districts, with Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, and other major cities experiencing a noticeable dip in temperatures. The weather department has predicted that the cold will continue for several days, with nighttime temperatures potentially reaching single digits in some areas.
Residents have been advised to take necessary precautions, such as wearing warm clothing, particularly in the early mornings and late evenings when the cold is expected to be at its peak. The PMD also forecasted clear skies during the day, with temperatures remaining relatively moderate.
This cold wave marks the onset of what is expected to be a particularly chilly winter across Pakistan, with other regions also likely to experience similar drops in temperature in the coming weeks.
