Murree received its Much Awaited snowfall of the winter season on Monday, with temperatures dipping to a record low of minus one degree Celsius.
To manage the expected influx of tourists during this snowy period, the City Traffic Police have implemented several measures to avoid traffic congestion. Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) of Murree, Mughees Ahmad Hashmi, announced that 200 traffic wardens have been deployed to ensure smooth flow of vehicles.
Roads such as View Fourth Road, Bank Road, Hall Road, and others will follow a one-way traffic system during the snowfall. Key areas like Habib Bank, GPO Chowk, and Kuldana Road have been designated parking-free zones to further ease congestion.
