The picturesque hill station of Murree experienced its first snowfall of the season, attracting tourists from across the country. The much-awaited snowfall began early in the morning, covering the town and its surrounding hills in a pristine white layer.
Local businesses, including hotels and restaurants, are witnessing a surge in visitors as families, friends, and adventure enthusiasts arrive to enjoy the enchanting winter scenery. Tourists were seen building snowmen, taking pictures, and savoring hot beverages against the snowy backdrop.
“This is my first time experiencing snowfall, and it’s like a dream come true,” said a tourist from Karachi.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted more snowfall in the coming days, urging travelers to exercise caution on slippery roads and during extreme weather conditions. Local authorities have also deployed teams to ensure smooth traffic flow and assist stranded visitors.
Murree, often referred to as the “Queen of Hills,” remains a favorite destination for snow lovers, offering a magical escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
