September 5, 2024 – Netflix has officially ordered an animated series adaptation of Stephanie Meyer’s Midnight Sun, bringing a new twist to the Twilight saga by exploring the story through Edward Cullen’s perspective. This highly anticipated project, which first emerged last April and received further confirmation from Lionsgate Television in March, is set to be produced by Netflix with Sinead Daly serving as writer and executive producer. The series promises to offer fans a fresh and immersive look into the world of Twilight.
