The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has raised the prices of imported liquefied natural gas (LNG) for March, impacting both Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) and Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL).
According to OGRA’s latest notification, the price of Re-gasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) has been increased by 4 cents per MMBTU, setting the new rate at $12.94 per MMBTU for SNGPL. Meanwhile, RLNG prices for SSGC have been raised by 5 cents per MMBTU, reaching $12.72 per MMBTU.
These revised prices will remain in effect throughout March, as per OGRA’s official statement. The increase in LNG rates is expected to have an impact on industries and consumers relying on imported gas for energy needs.
