The tri-services team of the Pakistan Armed Forces showcased remarkable performance at the 4th CISM (International Military Sports Council) World Military Cadet Games, held in Caracas, Venezuela, from August 16 to 22, securing a total of five medals.
The Pakistani contingent excelled in track, field, and shooting events. Chief Warrant Officer Mueed Baloch of the Pakistan Air Force clinched a gold medal in the 400 meters and a silver medal in the 200 meters. Sepoy Muhammad Akhtar of the Pakistan Army earned a silver medal in the 10,000 meters and a bronze medal in the 5,000 meters.
In the shooting events, the team comprising Nk Qasim Bilal, Sepoy Ismail Khan, and Sepoy Muhammad Rashid from the Pakistan Army secured a silver medal in the 25 meters pistol rapid shooting team event.
The team’s outstanding performance highlights their dedication and skill in representing Pakistan on an international stage.
