Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has declared that Pakistan, Azerbaijan, and Türkiye are “brothers in arms”, emphasizing the deep-rooted friendship, shared values, and strategic cooperation that unite the three nations.
Speaking during a meeting with delegations from Azerbaijan and Türkiye, the Prime Minister highlighted the countries’ mutual trust and collaboration in defense, trade, and regional stability. “Our friendship is not limited to words — it is a bond of faith, brotherhood, and shared destiny,” he said.
Shehbaz Sharif praised the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Türkiye for their continued support to Pakistan on international platforms, including their firm stance on the Kashmir issue.
He noted that joint military exercises, defense production partnerships, and energy cooperation have strengthened the trilateral relationship, setting a model for regional unity and resilience.
“The unity of Pakistan, Azerbaijan, and Türkiye sends a powerful message of peace, strength, and solidarity in a changing world,” Shehbaz stated, adding that the three brotherly nations would continue to support each other on global issues.
Officials from all three countries reiterated their commitment to expanding cooperation in defense technology, trade, and infrastructure projects, with a shared goal of promoting regional development and security.
