Pakistan has categorically denied granting the United States permission to use its airspace for a reported strike on Iran, amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.
In an official statement issued by the Foreign Office, Pakistan emphasized that it remains committed to regional peace and stability and will not become part of any military conflict between other states.
“There is no question of allowing our airspace to be used for any such operation. Pakistan stands for diplomacy and peaceful resolution of conflicts,” the statement said.
The denial comes amid widespread speculation following unconfirmed reports of a US-led strike targeting Iranian military assets. Regional observers had raised questions about whether allied countries, including Pakistan, had facilitated the operation through logistical support.
Pakistan has consistently maintained a neutral stance on conflicts involving Iran and the United States, calling for restraint and dialogue to avoid further destabilization of the region.
No official response has yet been made by the US or Iranian governments regarding the use of third-country airspace in the latest developments.
