This convenience is not limited to specific regions, as e-passports can be obtained from all passport offices nationwide, ensuring accessibility for all citizens.
With over 20 advanced security features, the newly introduced e-passport guarantees comprehensive records and travel details of the passport holder, significantly bolstering security measures and data management.
Excitingly, the Directorate General of Immigration and Passport has revealed plans to expand the e-passport issuance process to Pakistani embassies globally, including those in Europe and America, in the near future. This move aims to provide an added layer of convenience for Pakistani citizens residing abroad.
The launch of e-passports marks a transformative moment for Pakistan’s travel infrastructure, promising a more efficient and secure experience for its citizens.
