Islamabad, October 28, 2025 — Pakistan is reportedly considering sending troops to join an international peacekeeping force in Gaza, as global efforts intensify to ensure stability and humanitarian relief in the war-torn region.
According to diplomatic sources, the proposal is under review by Pakistan’s Foreign Office and Ministry of Defence, following consultations with the United Nations and several Middle Eastern countries. The mission’s objective would be to support ceasefire monitoring, protect civilians, and facilitate aid distribution under an internationally mandated framework.
Officials emphasized that any deployment would be strictly for peacekeeping and humanitarian purposes, contingent upon a formal UN resolution and regional consensus.
Defense analysts say Pakistan’s potential participation reflects its longstanding commitment to international peace missions and solidarity with the Palestinian people.
