Key routes such as Karachi-Lahore and Rawalpindi-Peshawar witnessed the highest passenger traffic, contributing significantly to the earnings.
Railway officials emphasized their commitment to providing affordable and efficient travel options for the public while exploring opportunities for further modernization and revenue generation. Plans for the introduction of new trains and upgraded facilities are also in the pipeline for 2025.
