In a strongly worded statement, Pakistan has denounced the recent Israeli Brutal attacks on the Palestinian enclave of Gaza, decrying the “indiscriminate and disproportionate” use of force by Tel Aviv against civilians and urging an immediate halt to hostilities. The Foreign Office (FO) Spokesperson, Mumtaz Zahrah Baloch, expressed these sentiments during the weekly press briefing, citing Pakistan’s deep concern for the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, exacerbated by what she referred to as the “inhumane blockade and collective punishment by Israeli forces.”Mumtaz Zahrah Baloch also highlighted that the Pakistani cabinet has unanimously condemned Israel’s actions in the region, underlining the nation’s solidarity with the Palestinian cause. Pakistan’s membership in the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has further spurred diplomatic action, as a special meeting is currently underway to address and discuss the ongoing conflict in Palestine. This meeting is expected to provide a platform for member states to coordinate efforts and seek solutions to the crisis.
