In a significant development aimed at bolstering bilateral relations, Pakistan is gearing up to grant free visas to Chinese citizens beginning immediately after August 14, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced today.
The decision came following a productive meeting between Prime Minister Sharif and a prominent 12-member Chinese delegation led by Wang Fukan, comprising senior officials and ambassadors. Discussions during the meeting centered on reinforcing collaboration and cooperation between the two nations.
Prime Minister Sharif reassured the delegation of heightened security measures for Chinese nationals within Pakistan and expressed optimism that this initiative would stimulate increased investment in the country.
Wang Fukan, in turn, underscored the potential for robust Pak-China relations through enhanced technical cooperation.
This move marks a significant step forward in the strategic partnership between Pakistan and China, setting the stage for closer ties and greater economic integration.
