Harbin, China – Pakistani athletes Muhammad Kareem and Muhammad Shabbir are all set to represent Pakistan in the upcoming Asian Winter Games 2025, scheduled to take place in Harbin, China.
Muhammad Kareem will compete in alpine skiing, showcasing his skills on the challenging slopes, while Muhammad Shabbir will participate in cross-country skiing, demonstrating endurance and precision in the grueling event.
The Pakistani delegation will be led by Air Commodore Asghar Jameel, who has been appointed as the Chef de Mission, ensuring smooth coordination for the team during the games. Muhammad Abbas, a seasoned skier himself, will serve as the players’ coach, providing guidance and motivation to the athletes.
The Pakistani team is set to depart for Harbin on February 4, ahead of the games, to acclimate to the conditions and make final preparations for the competition.
This marks another significant step in Pakistan’s growing involvement in winter sports, showcasing the talent and dedication of its athletes on an international stage.
