Renowned Pakistani TV presenter Waseem Badami woke up on Wednesday to the disconcerting realization that his X social media account had fallen victim to a malicious hacker. Known for his serious and professional demeanor online, Badami’s compromised account underwent a drastic transformation as the hacker seized control.
The intruder, in a series of posts featuring images of an unknown woman, made scandalous claims about Waseem Badami’s alleged secret marriage to a woman named Iqra, supposedly pregnant. The added threat of exposing more scandalous pictures and videos heightened the suspense surrounding the situation.
Reacting swiftly to the breach, Waseem Badami’s colleague and friend, Iqrar-ul-Hassan, took to Twitter to confirm the hack and urged everyone to disregard the tweets emanating from Badami’s account.
However, the situation took an unexpected twist when the hacker responded to Iqrar’s warning with a surprisingly witty retort, suggesting that he “enjoys Maldives” or risks having his own account compromised.
The hacker’s unexpected humor didn’t go unnoticed, drawing attention from various quarters. Actress Madiha Rizvi acknowledged their clever response to Iqrar-ul-Hassan’s warning, commenting, “Hacker is not coming slow.”
As Waseem Badami grapples with the aftermath of the cyber intrusion, the incident serves as a stark reminder of the vulnerability of even the most prominent figures in the digital age. The unfolding drama has captured the attention of social media users, leaving them eagerly awaiting further developments and the resolution of this unexpected scandal.
