Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Atif Butt of the Falcons has clinched victory at the Tekken 8 World Tour FV Major 2024, asserting his dominance in the competitive Tekken scene. Butt decisively defeated The Jon (Ashes) 3-0 in the grand final to secure the prestigious title.
The road to victory was a formidable one for Butt. In the Winners Semi-Final, he dispatched Infested (DRX) with a commanding 2-0 performance. This win propelled him into the Winners Final, where he continued his dominant form by overcoming The Jon, thereby earning his place in the Grand Final.
Despite The Jon’s impressive run through the Losers Bracket, where he bested Navi AK, he was unable to turn the tide in the rematch against Butt. The Falcons representative remained unyielding, sealing the championship with a flawless final showing.
Earlier this month, Atif Butt also demonstrated his prowess at the CEO 2024 Tekken 8 tournament. There, he first defeated Keisuke 2-0 in the Winners Semi-Final, then overcame Doujin 3-1 in the Winners Final. Butt re-engaged with Keisuke in the grand final, emerging victorious with a 3-2 score to claim the CEO 2024 title.
Known for his remarkable skill and formidable performances, Butt’s latest achievements further solidify his status as one of the leading figures in the Tekken community. His previous notable triumphs include winning the Tekken World Tour 2022 Finals, where he overcame a roster of elite international competitors, including South Korea’s Jeon DDing.
Atif Butt’s recent victories highlight his exceptional talent and consistent performance, continuing to build on his impressive legacy in the world of competitive Tekken.
