New Delhi – April 11, 2025: Passengers on an Air India international flight were left stunned after spotting members of the airline’s cabin crew sleeping in the business class section during the journey. The incident, which quickly sparked outrage on social media, raised serious concerns about professionalism and passenger safety.
According to eyewitnesses, at least two crew members were seen reclining with blankets and pillows in premium seats while the flight was in progress. Passengers claim they were unable to locate attendants for assistance during parts of the journey, triggering frustration among travelers.
Photos and videos allegedly taken during the flight have gone viral online, prompting an internal investigation by Air India.
In a brief statement, the airline acknowledged the incident and assured the public that “strict disciplinary action will be taken if any violation of standard operating procedures is confirmed.” The airline also reiterated its commitment to ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers.
