Islamabad (14 October 2025) — In a surprising statement that has sparked global debate, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised former U.S. President Donald Trump as a “man of peace” and announced his decision to once again nominate Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.
Speaking at a press conference in Islamabad, PM Shehbaz said that Trump’s “diplomatic efforts and bold leadership” in promoting global stability “deserve international recognition.”
