Khyber Pakhtunkhwa – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif along with Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir on Tuesday visited flood-affected regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to oversee ongoing rescue and relief efforts.
During the visit, the premier and army chief met with displaced families, reviewed damage assessments, and directed authorities to speed up the provision of aid, including food, shelter, and medical assistance. Both leaders assured the affected communities that the federal government and armed forces will work jointly for swift rehabilitation and long-term flood protection measures.
PM Shehbaz praised the efforts of civil administration, military, and rescue workers for their timely response, stressing that no affected citizen would be left unattended.
