Under the new initiative, one million students across the country will receive smartphones to facilitate their educational endeavors. This move is part of a broader strategy to bridge the digital divide and ensure that technology plays a crucial role in the learning process.
Furthermore, the program will offer free IT training to 200,000 young people annually, equipping them with essential digital skills for the future. In addition to these efforts, the initiative will also include the distribution of laptops and the opportunity for students to pursue advanced agricultural studies in China.
Sharif emphasized that these measures are designed to enhance Pakistan’s agricultural sector and provide students with the tools they need to succeed in a rapidly evolving digital world. He also took the opportunity to commend Olympic gold medalist Arshad Nadeem for his outstanding achievements, highlighting the importance of supporting and celebrating young talent.
The initiative will culminate in the launch of a new five-year youth development program, set to begin after August 14. This comprehensive plan aims to foster growth and provide substantial opportunities for Pakistan’s younger generation, underscoring the government’s commitment to education and youth empowerment.
