Islamabad, Pakistan – President Asif Ali Zardari has conferred the prestigious Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military) on the Naval Chief of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in recognition of his efforts to strengthen defence and maritime cooperation between the two nations.
The award ceremony was held at Aiwan-e-Sadr where senior military officials, diplomats, and government representatives were present. The honor highlights the growing strategic partnership and naval collaboration between Pakistan and the UAE.
Officials noted that the UAE Naval Chief played a key role in enhancing bilateral training programs, joint maritime security operations, and defense ties. President Zardari praised the brotherly relations between Pakistan and the UAE, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to deepening cooperation in all sectors, especially defence.
The UAE Naval Chief expressed gratitude for the honor and pledged to continue strengthening ties with Pakistan’s Navy for regional peace and security.
