The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has announced that private bookings for Hajj 2025 will officially open on January 10, 2025. Prospective pilgrims are advised to contact authorized Hajj operators to secure their slots.
This initiative comes as part of the government’s efforts to streamline Hajj arrangements, ensuring a seamless experience for those opting for private packages. The private scheme allows flexibility in travel, accommodation, and additional services for pilgrims.
According to officials, a list of licensed private Hajj operators will be available on the ministry’s website to help applicants avoid fraudulent schemes. Pilgrims are urged to verify operators’ credentials before making bookings.
Earlier, the federal government approved the Hajj Policy 2025, outlining new provisions and facilities aimed at improving the pilgrimage experience for Pakistanis. Over 180,000 pilgrims from Pakistan are expected to perform Hajj in 2025 under both government and private schemes.
