Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced its finalised strategy for a large-scale protest, urging its supporters nationwide to gather in Islamabad by November 26. The announcement follows the party’s continued criticism of the federal government and calls for fresh elections.
Addressing a press conference, senior PTI leaders revealed detailed protest arrangements, emphasizing the importance of a peaceful demonstration to highlight public grievances. PTI Chairman Imran Khan, in a video message, urged citizens to stand against “economic mismanagement and injustice,” rallying for what he termed as a “true democratic system.”
“November 26 will be a turning point. We are calling on every Pakistani who believes in justice and sovereignty to join us,” Khan said, reiterating his demand for immediate elections.
The protest is expected to see supporters from various cities converging on the capital. Security measures are being ramped up as authorities brace for potential disruptions.
The government, meanwhile, has cautioned against any unlawful activities, vowing to maintain order in the capital.
With tensions high, Islamabad is set to witness another chapter in Pakistan’s unfolding political saga.
