In a unique display of solidarity, two prominent leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Sher Afzal Marwat and Ali Mohammad Khan, made a striking statement at the National Assembly today. Donning masks depicting the face of their leader, Imran Khan, the duo arrived at the Parliament as the assembly convened for the first time following the February 8 election.
The atmosphere was charged with PTI support as several independently-elected lawmakers backed by PTI carried party flags into the House, raising slogans in support of their party’s vision.
Before stepping into the chamber, Marwat and Khan paused to capture the moment, clicking photos in the corridors of Parliament. One particular photo, now circulating widely on social media, shows both leaders side by side, each sporting the iconic Imran Khan mask.
The gesture garnered attention both within and outside the National Assembly, with other PTI members joining in to capture moments of unity and support. The images quickly went viral, sparking conversations across the country about this unusual yet impactful display of loyalty to the PTI leadership.
