In a move to show solidarity with the people of Kashmir, the Punjab government has officially announced a public holiday on February 5, 2025, in observance of Kashmir Day. This decision aligns with the nationwide commemoration of Kashmir Day, a day to recognize the ongoing struggle of Kashmiris and to reaffirm Pakistan’s commitment to the region.
The holiday will apply to all government offices, educational institutions, and public services across the province. The announcement came from the Provincial Chief Minister’s office, who emphasized the importance of standing united in support of the Kashmir cause.
