Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched an ambitious healthcare initiative with the inauguration of 150 ‘Maryam Nawaz Health Clinics’ across Punjab. The clinics, designed to offer affordable and accessible healthcare to underserved areas, are part of the provincial government’s ongoing efforts to improve the health infrastructure and tackle public health challenges.
Addressing a large gathering at the launch ceremony, CM Maryam Nawaz emphasized the importance of accessible healthcare for all, stating, “These clinics are a step toward ensuring that quality healthcare reaches every citizen, regardless of their location or financial situation.”
The health clinics will offer essential medical services, including consultations, free medicines, and diagnostic facilities. The government plans to expand the initiative to more regions, with the aim of establishing a network of such clinics throughout the province.
Healthcare professionals and experts have praised the initiative, noting that it could significantly reduce the burden on major hospitals while improving the overall health outcomes in rural and underserved communities.
Maryam Nawaz also highlighted her commitment to continuing the work of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government in prioritizing healthcare and addressing the needs of the people.
The launch of the ‘Maryam Nawaz Health Clinics’ is expected to set a new standard for healthcare access in the country, providing relief to millions of people in need.
