Lahore: The Punjab government has launched Pink and Blue Mobile Driving License Units across 27 districts of the province to make license services more accessible and citizen-friendly.
According to officials, the Pink Mobile Units are specially designed to facilitate women, providing them a comfortable and secure environment for driving license issuance, renewals, and verification. Meanwhile, the Blue Mobile Units will cater to the general public, ensuring faster and hassle-free services at their doorsteps.
The initiative aims to reduce overcrowding at traffic police offices and bring essential services closer to citizens, especially in remote and underserved areas. These mobile units are equipped with modern facilities, biometric systems, and trained staff to process licenses efficiently.
Authorities say the move reflects Punjab’s commitment to digital governance, gender inclusion, and public service reform, making driving license procedures simpler and more transparent.
The mobile units will operate on a scheduled route plan, and citizens are advised to check local announcements for timings and locations in their districts.
